In 1956, after 4 years from concept to completion, Ford introduced the luxurious Lincoln Continental Mark II. Priced at $10,000, it was one of the world’s most expensive cars. This was what the the biggest celebrities of the day drove, including Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra and Elizabeth Taylor.
