1958 Chevrolet Biscayne

Here’s a great in-depth video review of a mostly original 1958 Chevrolet Biscayne, the car that replaced Chevy’s 210 model.

Originally built for the fleet market, but was sold to the general public as well.

It was an ideal choice for someone who wanted the look and the feel of a full-size car but without all the bells and whistles.

The Biscayne in this video is powered by a 235.5 ci (3.9 L) Blue Flame I6 engine and a 3-speed (on the tree) manual transmission.

That’s it, we’re talkin’ bare bones here. No power steering, no power brakes, no air-conditioning. I did mention it was a “no-frills” car, didn’t I?

Enough said. Watch the video. You’re gonna like it.

I’m hoping you enjoyed that video, as much as I liked sharing it with you.

On a side note, 1958 – 1960 Biscaynes are rated as one of the best classic cars available under $10,000, according to the Hagerty vehicle ratings.

Here are a couple of shots of a really good looking 1958 Chevrolet Biscayne I ran across recently.

I should say hello. My name is Greg, and I’m the guy behind this site. The whole idea behind OldCarNutz is to share some pretty incredible photos and videos of classic cars with my visitors. That’s it! That’s all.

Here’s the “but” though…

So look, before we do anything else, I’ve gotta level with you. The main reason this site exists is a selfish one. I really like checking out classic car videos (like the 1958 Chevrolet Biscayne video here), and I honestly just wanted a place where I could watch and share all of my favorites on my own site.

But I’m also an unapologetic opportunist. I’m just being honest.

I enjoy earning a bit of sponsorship revenue on the side, as I share some awesome classic car content with you. I hope, you’re okay with that.

I just wanted to disclose the fact that yes, I do make money from this site. Still… any possible monetary benefit is incidental, and I’m not here to sell you anything.

If my sponsors happen to entice you with their offers, that’s cool! But if that’s not the case, then I totally won’t hold it against you. It’s just really great to have you here.

I just want you and me to be able to check out some cool vintage automobile photos and videos together!

It’s for this reason that I created OldCarNutz.com. It’s really a classic automobiles lover’s home for some really cool pictures and videos. If that sounds like something you can appreciate, then I’d love to see you again.

So please keep on comin’ back! I’ll simply keep sharing lots of killer videos about hot rods, muscle cars, and vintage cars and more.
