1957 Ford Fairlane 500

In 1957, the Ford Fairlane 500 became the best selling car in America, surpassing Chevrolet for the first time since 1935. Take a look and see why.

Here’s some really cool pics of a gorgeous 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 2 door hardtop we recently came across!

We’ve seen lots of ’57 Ford Fairlanes, but this one really caught our eye.

A few of the new exterior features found on the 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 included long flanks and tailfins, as well as an abundance of trim lines that were available.

This 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 is powered by a 223 cubic inch (3.7 L) 144 hp OHV Straight-6, although a 272 cubic inch (4.5 L) 190 hp V8 was also available. It has a 3-speed automatic transmission.

The ’57 Fairlane was 2 inches lower than its predecessors, 207.7 inches long overall, and has a 118-inch wheelbase.

If you’re ’57 Ford enthusiasts like us, you are going to enjoy these photos. Scroll through them and see if you agree!

I hope you enjoyed the photos of this 1957 Ford Fairlane 500.

I am the founder of this site, Greg Johnson, and sharing awesome classic car photos and videos is the reason why I’ve assembled this ever-growing site. There’s not much more to say.

Well, maybe that isn’t the only reason for this site being here…

Look, before we go any further, I’ve got an admission I feel that I need to make. To be perfectly honest, my own selfish needs are really behind this site.

You see, I love classic cars (like the 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 featured here), and a cool site on which I could share my favorites with others is really what I was after.

I also recognize a good opportunity when I see one. I’m just “keepin’ it real” with you.

I love sharing great content, and I also enjoy earning sponsorship revenues and commissions… hopefully, you don’t see anything wrong with that.

I just wanted to disclose the fact that yes, I do make money from this site. But don’t get me wrong… selling you stuff isn’t my goal here.

If you see a product on this site that you think is cool, that’s fantastic! But if you’re not interested, then no concerns. You just being here is good enough for me.

Sharing cool classic car pics with good people like you is just plain fun for me!

And that’s the purpose that OldCarNutz serves. It’s really a place for cool people to come together and check out classic cars. I hope you can appreciate that. If so, I’d love to see you here again.

So keep on coming back! I will just keep sharing loads of fantastic videos and pics of hot rods, vintage cars, and muscle cars… and that’s just to warm up with.
