1937 Packard Super Eight Convertible Victoria
Here’s a short walk-around video that features a beautiful, Ray Dietrich-inspired 1937 Packard Super Eight Convertible Victoria.
If you’re familiar with coaches designed by Dietrich, you know it adds true “luxury” to the equation.
Despite being 5 inches shorter and 695 lbs lighter than the 12 cylinder counterpart, it shared several new features with it that included a 30-degree slant to the radiator, coil spring independent front suspension, and hydraulic brakes.
Packard advertised these as improvements that brought a new level of sophistication, smoothness, and safety to an already impressive car.
If you love Packards of the ’30s as much as we do, you’ll love this classic 1937 Packard Super Eight Convertible. Take a look and see if you agree!
Pretty awesome Packard, don’t you think? I thought you’d like it!
Hi, I’m Greg, the fella behind this website, and the reason this site exists is for you to be able to access lots of incredible vintage automobile photos and videos.
Honestly. That is the reason I’m here now. 🙂
Yes, a “but” is coming…
So look, before we begin, an admission is in order.
Admittedly, the creation of this site was, if I’m being perfectly honest, a selfish act on my part.
See, I really enjoy watching vintage automobile videos (like the 1937 Packard Super Eight Convertible video you just took a look at), and I honestly just wanted a place where I could re-watch and share all of my favorites from.
But I’m also a shameless opportunist. Why not just be honest, right?
I enjoy earning a bit of sponsorship revenue on the side, as I share awesome vintage automobile photosets and videos with you. Hopefully, you’re all right with that.
As I’m sure you’ve gathered, I don’t pull any punches.
But (and this is a big but)… sales pitches suck, they’re not my style, and making money is not my key motivator for running this blog.
If my sponsors happen to entice you with their offers, that’s perfect! But if you’re just not interested, then I won’t lose any sleep.
It’s just really great to have you here. 🙂
Sharing cool vintage cars with good people like you is just plain fun for me! 😉
And that’s what OldCarNutz is about. For all intents and purposes, it’s a site for those who care about great classic cars.
Sound good? Great! It’d be great to have you over again sometime. 😉
So stay in the loop
